Heck Jackalope, not like living in central NY huh?
Let's see...It has never gotten above 19F here and at night drops into the high single digits to low teens. It snows everyday on the average about 2". Wind has been out of the North-Northwest at 5-10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph. Schools
at worst are being delayed by 1-2 hrs. each day. Mostly functioning as normal.
Folks up around the I-90 cross state thruway are receiving 6-12" of lake-effect snow a day with similar temps and wind.
Usually this time of year we use 15 or so logs a day for the wood stove. This week we are using 22 a day.
I do realize that the snow you are getting below the Mason Dixon Line is an anomaly, however, come on, it's only a few inches.
PS: Our mail lady has delivered our mail each & every day. Yes, she is running a Jeep with chains BUT she is making it.
