Title: SCOTUS Opinion Day

Its Thursday. Generally Decision Announcement day.  Mondays also, but last Monday was a holiday.

10am is when they will start being published, if any today.  This term is over in a couple of weeks so expect decisions soon.

Be listening for Rahimi, Cargill, and Vullo.

Contested issues.

Rahimi-- domestic violence protection order strips 2A rights.

Cargill-- BATF can say bump fire triggers are unlawful.

Vullo--  New York Atty Genl can pressure businesses to do no business or recognize credit card transacions with NRA.

Just heard they ruled in favor of NRA in NY case

Reversed and remanded.  It originally was shot down at the trial court level on a motion to dismiss.  Basically the judge said no case.  Appellate court agreed.

SCOTUS 9-0 said there was a case there, and it should be heard.

Did they rule on anything related to Trump and the President being immune from prosecution?

Not today.

Supremecourt.gov is their first page.  Lots of good info there with links to the decided cases.
