My thoughts are this is one step deeper into WWIII which will be escalated just before the election. Combined with all the illegals already in the US and they will create something violent near election time. The deep state has something planned to prevent Trump from getting into office, probably many events are being planned to create more chaos in the streets...

That's certainly how I see it: creeping gradualism. Adding more and more troops, weapons and national vitriol to the region , until it bursts into a continental and global war.
