With RFK's announcement yesterday of throwing his support behind Trump how much will it affect the two (Harris and Trump) campaigns? I haven't a clue, however, Trump will receive a lot of media coverage for sure over this change of events. It will be up to him and his surrogates to use the coverage to their advantage.
MrsMac and I did watch the rally were Trump introduced RFK and in typical Trump fashion. I thought it was a bit over done. Well that's Trump the showman.
RFK is a bit of a loose cannon so it would not surprise me if he steps on his dick closer to the election and the Trump camp wishes they too had walked away not unlike Harris did by rejecting RFK's offer. Remember, he offered his defection to her first. Heck, she wouldn't even talk with him on the phone which to be honest was bad form. It just goes to show you how protective Harris's handlers are of her.
This whole presidential election cycle has been weird for sure. We have a former President vs. a current President/VP where we can compare past performance. We have a new candidate who nobody cast one vote for. The Elites picked her.
We have a candidate who 8-weeks ago had a 28% favorability rating and the press hated her. We have a presidential candidate that was shot at resulting in the injury of two bystanders and the death of another. To make the assignation attempt worse, .gov is pointing their finger at anybody to avoid criticism. This leads one to come up with all kinds of conspiracy theories. We have a current administration trying to put into jail ones opponent. The list goes on and on.
Well, we will just have to see how the RFK endorsement of Trump pans out. Good, bad, or a nothing burger. Just keep an eye on the guy. Remember, Benedict Arnold and the Manchurian Candidate of the past.
Stay tuned,
