Simon van Zuylen-Wood has a very good write up. I say that because if a person who doesn't care one way or the other would believe gun owners have a macho problem and that they should not own a gun.    :gunner: :boltAction: :suicide: :boltAction2:

It is depressing how popular culture continues to degrade.

While demanding more rights for those that have LGBT lifestyle choices. People scream for restrictions on people living with firearm related lifestyles.

Now when it comes to veterans in our society. We are seeing an aged old phenomena. When threats to our society are fresh those that serve or have served are respected and appreciated "Sheep understand they need the sheepdog". As time goes on that sentiment wains and the sheep begin to fear the sheepdog. It is unfortunate yet the cycle continues to happen throughout history. I do not believe there is a true answer to this quandary.

Taking cheap shots at veterans is in vogue at the moment and unfortunately probably will be for a good long time.

I must add.

Like many media pieces today. Researching the subject properly tends to no longer be a first priority.

As an example the quoted individual who as the article says " Someone like @dan_foofighter, who goes by Blackbeard and posts photos of himself aiming Airsoft rifles while dressed in multicam fatigues."

Is in reality an Airsoft guy here in the UK. So is not applicable to an article discussing the firearms culture in the US.

Cheers all.......
