Manchester UK Bombing

My thoughts and prayers go out to those affected.

The story is still developing. So am not going to act as a news commentator.

I do however have wish to highlight something I have noticed in relation to this.

Our societies in the West have created a false sense of security in the minds of the populace. By pretending that bad things should not happen. We have created a victim mindset in the populace.

I do not have a simple answer to the problem.

What I do advocate is for our societies to begin to teach the populace basic common sense lessons.

Bad things happen in this world. We need to begin teaching people what to do when these bad things happen.

Like I said the news on this is still developing. However I have noticed in the footage shown so far. That people panicked and were rushing for the exits. It is likely that some of the people hurt in this thing could have been trampled.

The risk of such should be of concern. This risk I feel should be addressed by public information initiatives.

Cheers all.

1) Yupper, another tragedy.

2) For rather restricted societies, the UK and the EU are getting hit pretty hard.
Keep abreast of J6 arrestees at https://americangulag.org/ Donate if you can for their defense.

It takes a devil worshiper to attack children.
My prayers are with the parents.

Gadget99 there was a time when parents taught their children about the perils of life but that went away with political correctness. Now it is racist to tell your children not to talk to strangers to stay out of certain parts of a city or town. Think of Grimms "Hansel and Gretel" and other stories to scare children out of going to bad places.
Today society reminds me of the story "The Time Machine" where near the end of the tale the people are given everything to live including food to fatten them up for the slaughter.
In principle, no less than in practice, socialism is the ideology of thieves and tyrants.

Well said all.

One of the first named killed so far is an 8yr old girl.

This attach is indeed a special kind of evil.

I fear it is going to continue to be heart breaking.

Yes, we need to start some type of education program similar to that stuff in the early 60s, but more realistic.  Remember duck and cover?  IMHO that was the wrong execution (but about all that could be done) of the right idea.

More of a duck and cover, get out easy, don't stampede type response would be much more reasonable methinks.

Add in a-- tear off a chunk of your slip and compress to stop the bleeding on your buddy might be helpful also.

If you need a second magazine, its time to call in air support.

God created Man, Col. Sam Colt made him equal, John Moses Browning turned equality to perfection, Gaston Glock turned perfection into plastic fantastic junk.
