If you need a second magazine, its time to call in air support.

God created Man, Col. Sam Colt made him equal, John Moses Browning turned equality to perfection, Gaston Glock turned perfection into plastic fantastic junk.

Damn.... I thought that I was the only person on the planet that had figured all that out. Well, when its all over, I guess there will be one or two thousand of us that will refuse to comply. Hell, I can do math. 59 million people died from the Swine Flu and nobody said squat. 3 Million die from the Bullshit Virus and the whole world shuts down. Even Stevie Wonder can see that one coming. My plan is to live outside the system as much as I can and for as long as I can.

Look I really don't want to get into bun fights over this.

Yet it is difficult to not speak up and maintain a clear concense.

Now I am shielding family that have risk factors for this virus. So I do have a horse in the game. I see all the rhetoric about this being a hoax, plot and everything under the sun. The majority of the time I just keep quiet and concentrate on keeping mine and my own safe.

Though to be honest I am getting pretty darned mad at being told that because I believe the virus is a threat. I am at fault for all the bad things that are happening out there.

REALLY?

I like the show me state motto. Put your money where your mouth is.

You see. I and my own have put out money where our mouth is. We have isolated ourselves. Provided material support to close friends that are hurting worse than ourselves. And so much more.

Yet we still have to be bombarded with claims that we are idiots for wearing a mask.

I will tell you what. I will give any single one of these armchair blowhards credence and will bow to their mastery of knowledge if they will. "Put their money where their mouth is"

Now I am not concerned that I will be eating crow any time soon. You see? While they spout their crap. Not a single one of them has had the intestinal fortitude "guts". To show us all how right they are. This virus is made up, a hoax. Yet if it was a hoax. All they  end to do is go out and expose themselves to it. Catch the virus on purpose to show us all. Once and for all how harmless it is. Wait do I hear crickets calling? Yep.

Show me the money or shut the heck up.

Blaming the people in our society that are suffering from the virus, fighting to save lives in our hospitals and doing all they can to protect themselves from catching it. Blaming THEM for the mess that us being caused as a result of a virus that has no agenda and the inept government handling this?

Think real hard and take a self inventory. Placing the blame that way is beyond repugnant. It is so far past excusable. It is a testament on how far down the drain our society has sunk. Both on the left and the right.

A society where this is acceptable deserves a catastrophic reset.

Good day everyone.

I would normally apologise for my ranting however that is no longer on the cards.

The virus is real but the fears based around it are a hoax.

There is over 98% survival rate. If those stats send you into self confinement, that's fine with me but dont expect me to change my life or give up my freedoms and Rights based on your fears.

LOL...

Talks cheap. Prove it is harmless. Catch it and give us a blow by blow on how you have beat it.

If it is 98% survivable and you are so sure. Then take one for the team.

You see? The only way for an epidemic to end is with herd immunity. 60 to 80 percent of the population must get the virus to gain herd immunity.

So instead of accusing me of trying to infringe upon the rights of others. Which I have yet to do. Then do your civic duty and go get the virus. Bring this to an end as soon as possible so your rights are no longer under threat.

I don't see that happening though.

I have always loved this community. But I think I am going to call it quits here at least until the emergency has passed. I had thought their would have been a strengthening of community ties and a more collaborative environment. Where we would offer information and advice to bolster each others efforts to survive and thrive when faced with a national or global impact from a threat. Whether imagined or real. You know when things are going wrong whether you like it or not.

So yeah.... I could join other forums where the latest plot theory is discussed and such. Didn't like them so ended up here.

Guess things change with time.

I wish you all luck with the current times.

Bye.......

I have had it, at least 4 friends have had it (along with their families), my sister and two boys have had it. We're all fine now. The worst case spent a week in bed while most of the other cases were cold like symptoms to no symptoms

I already made a comment on this thread but after all the other comments, I feel that I must make another comment. Talk to your family Doctor and see what he/she says. I talked at length to mine and he said that if he hadn't had 2 patients catch it he would think the whole thing was BS. He has to force us to wear a mask when we go to his office because of PRESSURE FROM ABOVE(Medical Board and the State Health Dept). I get it. He has to play along if he wants to keep being a Doctor. I don't wear a mask and since me and my wife both Smoke, we're supposed to be immune to it. I'd like to play along and be the guinea pig but if I can't catch it, then I can't carry it around and give it to everybody. With all that said, I do use hand sanitizer because I might pick the germs up on my hands and pass it to somebody else when I shake hands. All the arguing over the damn Virus is exactly what the powers that be want. They want us off balance and divided and they're damn well getting it.

Wow... I missed that bit of info here on the forum I guess. I will amend my challenge and apologise to you and yours. I still stand by my comments for the rest out there. I saw that Eric had been symptomatic. Probably should have kept a better eye out for others on here that had tested positive. Did you provide a run down here? I would have liked to have read it. I am very interested in the personal experiences of others who have recovered from this. Unfortunately up to this point all that I personally known have not fared well. Bunch of deaths and alot in ICU for extended periods.

I am pleased to hear that you and yours had recovered after testing positive for this virus. It must be good to know that you all have the antibodies now. It would probably help people here if periodically you were to take the antibody test to see how long they last for.

On that necessarily apologetic note. I wish all well in the future. I will check back every once in a while to see if there are any posts that may interest me.

Bye

I didn't believe the numbers from the start. Then when they showed the cause of death of a man dying from a motorcycle accident as COVID 19. That just confirmed it.

‪The Strangest Virus:  This is the strangest virus I've ever heard of. It's so mysterious the way it lurks in schools but then dies at Home Depot. It can spread when buying clothes at Kohl's but not at Target. It can't spread when you're buying beer or liquor. It lives for two days on Amazon boxes, but can't survive on Dunkin Donuts coffee cups , so having a cup of coffee is safe. It is the most curious thing how it lives on basketballs and baseball bats, but dies on Walmart shopping carts. It is spread by hairstylists and dentists but not by bank tellers and fast food workers . It is mind-boggling how it vanishes when people stand close together protesting or destroying monuments. It is so smart, it won't bother the first 10 people gathered but knows when the 11th person shows up, so be careful it's not you. If you want a massage or your nails done it is very actively on the prowl and not even a mask can stop it, but if you need a plumber , it is weak and a mask will keep it away. It also requires dine-in restaurants to have a shorter menu and to use real plates, but only plastic forks and spoons. Who ever heard of such a clever sneaky virus ?!?‬

SK,  there are a lot of inconsistencies relating to how Covid-19 is being handled.

not medical or scientific inconsistencies but political inconsistencies.

I don't think the virus doesn't cares about politics - a lesson Texas and Florida and ... are learning the hard way.
