Is the UK going crazy?

Now they have taken a baby away from its parents because they are to old and didn't meet the government standards. It seems in the Uk they own all of the children. Sounds like 1936 Germany.

Social Services across the UK are a mess.

Not sure how it is in the states.

Be careful with what The Sun prints. We here in the States do not know the whole story.

As an aold mentor of mine once told me, "No matter how thinly you slice the baloney, there is always two sides.  ;)

Not if you slice it into a Mobius Strip.  Then it only has one side.  Think democrapic policy.  But Mobius Strips are real.  And have ONLY ONE side.

Good point JM.

The Sun is a bit of a trash paper.

The mess I noted with the social services here is not of the making of the services themselves.

Social Services here are walking a tightrope. The fine line is determined by government policy that is set in reaction to public opinion.

A social worker get to heavy handed and gets fired. Yet if the miss something and there is harm caused and they get fired.

So much of the time they are damned if they do or damned if they don't.

So they quit and go to other professions.
