5. BIG CONCESSION from DOJ:  AR15s are NOT a military weapon
************************************************************

The recent win by the Second Amendment Foundation protecting the right to publish the data used to make 3-D printed firearms had another big win:  The U.S. Government formally acknowledged that "non-automatic firearms up to .50-caliber – including modern semi-auto sporting rifles such as the popular AR-15 and similar firearms – are NOT inherently military."

Maybe Kavanaugh is having an effect prior to taking the bench.  If you have not make some calls to politicians to support him-- get your *** in gear and do so.

I am a little bit in two minds about this.

yes, it dulls the left's propaganda club that it uses to beat us with...

But fundamentally I believe that military weapons are exactly what the 2nd amendment protects especially.

There's no doubt about it. We were never intended to have a Standing Army. We, the Citizens, were supposed to be the Army. Anything the Military has, we are supposed to have. Since we do have a Standing Army, there are lots of people who can't wrap their minds around the fact that we are also the Army.

What people either forget or refuse to admit the second amendment is there so we can protect ourselves from an unjust government.

Didn’t stoner create the Ar15 as per the military’s specifications, with military use in mind, and with a caliber specifically designed for human beings at the ranges the military typically shots them? Can’t get anymore inheirently military than that.

I agree completely.  But the courts have been going with "common use" idea, ignoring the numbers "on the street" now.  That also harms any new developments in things like caseless ammo.

Anti-gun politicians fighting with the "weapons of war" argument.

I believe strongly Gorsuch and Kavanaugh will change this dramatically if given the chance.  (SIDETRACK-- Call your reps and tell them to support Kavanaugh)

This determination makes significant dent into the AR-15, Assault Rifle name is a weapon of war and cannot be on the street argument.  Now someone needs to design a caseless ammo caliber that works in an AR.
