Nope. Black Church Vandalism Is Not A Trump-Related Hate Crime
November 27, 2017| by Brian Anderson

Over the weekend 5 black churches were vandalized in New Jersey. Naturally it was assumed that this was a racially-motivated crime because nobody, and I mean nobody, has been paying attention to how frequently stuff like this ends up being a hoax. Surprise surprise, the police caught the perpetrator and it appears to be a black man who attacked all of these black churches. Move along. Nothing to see here.

This was the outraged reporting from Newsweek on this horrible hate crime:

Vandals struck five New Jersey churches with predominantly black congregations this weekend — incidents that police are investigating as possible hate crimes.

The perpetrators destroyed the outside of the buildings overnight from Friday into Saturday, including shattering a stained glass window and damaging or breaking exterior signs, according to prosecutors.

Authorities are looking into the episodes as bias crimes, which is New Jersey’s version of a hate crime…

And Newsweek threw in this shit because obviously this was President Trump’s fault:

Hate crimes in the United States have increased since President Donald Trump took office, with more than 6,100 reported instances in 2016, up from more 5,800 in 2015, according to Federal Bureau of Investigations data.

Black churches, which have been targets of such crimes for centuries, are regular victims of the attacks…

Even New Jersey’s democrat governor-elect got in on the action:

“Disgusted by reported vandalism of African-American churches across Morristown. These cowardly acts will not shake our faith. They will renew our determination to come together as one NJ,” said Phil Murphy.

On Monday The Daily Record reported this:

The vandalism at five Morristown-area churches with predominantly black congregations was not motivated by bias, the Morris County Prosecutor said in a prepared statement Sunday evening.

The damage was allegedly caused by one man, who was a former congregant of one of the churches…

Zuri C. Towns, 45, of Morristown was arrested and charged with four fourth degree counts of criminal mischief, and one third degree count of criminal mischief.

“As a result of the investigation, no evidence was obtained that would indicate this was a bias incident which legally requires purpose to intimidate a person or group based upon their protected class,” said Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp.

Neither the news nor the police have specifically identified the vandal as a black man, but he’s a black man. First, there is the picture above from surveillance video, which certainly looks like a black guy throwing a rock. Then there is the fact that this person was a former member of a black church and as far as a know black churches are designated that way because the people who attend services are black. Finally, the dude’s name is Zuri C. Towns, which is probably not a white person’s name.

Given this new and predictable information, I wonder if NJ governor-elect Murphy is still disgusted by this cowardly crime. Considering that it was perpetrated by a black guy, Murphy’s disgust would appear to be a bit racist. I also wonder if Newsweek still thinks this is Trump’s fault. Actually, I don’t wonder that at all; of course they do.

The sad thing is, the vandalism of these black churches will go in the database as reported hate crimes against black people, which tells you everything you need to about the validity of hate crime statistics.

Propaganda. The democrats/progressives/communists know that the first word out is what the Low Information voter believes. That's why they are quick to condemn those who oppose them. Up until President Trump the spineless conservatives never said anything.

Having a protected class is the same as saying "You are inferior to me" so I will protect you. Classic racism.
