51/49 For Nomination of Patel to FBI
« on: February 20, 2025, 02:46:09 PM »
Well now. It appears that Kash Patel is our new Director of FBI. Close but a win is a win.

Okay, the leggo blocks are all in place now to clean out the swamp. At the top of the leggo building we have AG Pam Bondi. Now we have the Director of FBI to investigate the recommendations Cabinet members send to Bondi for prosecution.

This is my top 5 folks that should be investigated first.

1. Andrew McCabe (FBI)
2. James Comey (FBI)
3. John Brennan (CIA)
4. Hillary Clinton (Sec. of State)
5. Robert Mueller (FBI)

Focus on pick 1, 2, and 5. Patel needs to focus inhouse to clean it out.

Who do you think?

Actually, Biden should be number 1.  Schumer and Schiff should be high on the list too.

Every member of congress, regardless of political affiliation, should have a minimum investigation of there finances and dealings and if anything is found, they dig deeper. We the People NEED to know our representatives are who they claim to be

Jackalope: The way I've narrowed it down is..... The Congressmen who only serve one or two terms are the honest one's who realize how corrupt the government is, and they get out. The one's that serve their whole life remind me of 90 year old Hookers who refuse to retire.

I was a campaign stop/gun rights org/dinner meeting a couple of years ago.

Not my area but near and cheap enough (and member) it was a good evening out.  One candidate promised to stay no more than 6 years (aka 3 terms) then retire.

I asked one of the other candidates about their thoughts on that idea.

I was informed 3 terms in Congress give you (and spouse) lifetime health insurance.   And it is a most excellent plan with minimal deductibles, near zero co-pay and near zero pre-approvals required.

The general position of the person promising to stay 3 terms was fairly acceptable, and I could have voted for them, but I did like another better.

The 3 terms linkage was not the only reason I did not support them, but a fair part.

As long as everything holds together.

But if it does, I have a sneaking suspicion that the largest concern around here will be substantially reduced.
