From the Washington Times-

U.S. national security officials are warning that jihadists are planning a major cyberattack against vital infrastructure soon.
The alert was sent following a report on a jihadist website Monday by two groups that announced in Arabic an ?Open Invitation for All Hackers to Participate in ?Operation Black Summer? To Target U.S. Vital Services.?
The attackers plan to use the Twitter hashtag #opBlackSummer to wage electronic warfare against the United States with other jihadists.?It is also essential to note that this raid will be a global one in which all the enemies of the United States, whether Muslims or non-Muslims, will take part,? the posting stated, noting that Osama bin Laden had advocated such attacks.
The message said one group involved in the attack is the al Qaeda Digital Army and appeared on the al Qaeda-linked website Ansar al-Mujahideen Network.

Now, I wonder which al Qaeda this is. The one we fund, educated, and trained or the boogie men with ak47's, long beards, and missing teeth the news keeps showing. The perfect storm is brewing folks. I highly suspect that by the time the OWTC is finished being built this year everything will come crashing down.

That's a good point about "which al Qaeda" this might be.  With certain agendas it's difficult to tell who they might actually be working for, I could tin foil several scenarios.

The other thought I had was how instantaneously digital dollars can disappear.  Not to mention how much havoc could be reeked upon our digital commerce and control systems by those with the know how to do it, whatever their motivations might be.

As with all the other potential threats we face, we'll just have to wait and see.  And prepare.

Sledge- I wouldn't call it "tin foil scenarios." Fact is we're the same type of guys you've been calling this shit out for years to family, friends, and all sorts of ignorant individuals in between. Hey, maybe we're prophets?  :)) I seriously don't think we have long. I'm hoping to get up to the mountains full time before the shit storm hits, but I'm not thinking it'll happen. The shit storm cometh.

My thinking, puts on tin foil prophecy hat, is that the DOJ could use this as some false flag nonsense to stage an attack on Americans. A few years back my sister was dating this kid who got raided by the FBI for alleged child porn. The took all their computers and tore them to shreds. When the lawyer got them they searched them up and down and found nothing, neither did the feds. Charges were dropped and nothing ever explained. In a "domestic terrorist" case though I can imagine all documents sealed and people being rounded up under false pretenses. Perhaps even a US soil drone attack against such an alleged "imminent threat." I'm no computer genius, but I can imagine it would not be difficult for the government to use a zombie virus to plant encrypted information on individuals computers. I just read today that 94% of Java are open to a new hack. And frankly, unless you're fairly crafty you won't find hidden data on your pc from a virus. Even with good software. I usually wouldn't speculate that far in, but "al Qaeda" is the main reason I never joined after 9/11. The line between US led and fed and radical Islam is way to blurry.
