The Board (PREPCOM) wanted to have a way of recognizing our more prolific forum posters from June 2013- July 2014.
In August, a list of Unchainedpreppers morale patches will be announced based on DYI articles posted, 1,000 plus posters and general patches for sale.
If you or any other forum member has some design thoughts, we would love to hear/see them.

I have an excel spreadsheet with all of the eligible forum members listed on it. Once I receive the members mailing address I put it on the spreadsheet. When I send the patch or subsequent additional patches I will let the forum member receiving the patch know.
When the forum member receives their patch (s) I am asking that the forum member send me a "got-it" email and I will purge their name and address from the excel file.
NOBODY other than I will have access to your info. I hope I have answered some of your questions on this matter. :cheers:

Funny story: When we moved to Seattle in '80 we lived in a very nice apartment complex in Bellevue, WA. Each unit in the complex had four apartments. Two downstairs and two above the below apartments and each apartment had their own entrance.
Well the above apartment, catty-cornered to ours, an interesting couple lived there. The guy was a pimp, drug dealer and his significant other was one of the whores he ran.
Several times a week two white shirted guys with black ties and black trousers would show up with a black hard sided suitcase and walk up the outside stairs to the afor mentioned neighbors apartment.
We always thought they were Mormon's until one day we heard panicked pounding on our front door. I looked through the peephole and there stood our neighborhood hooker. I opened up the door and she rushed in she said, "close the door...Fast!"
Then she put here index finger to her lips and motioned for MrsMac and I to be quite.
About 2 minutes after the arrival of our new friend, we watched the two afor mentioned guys go up the steps and knock on her door. This went on for a couple of minutes until they left. At which time our neighbor told us they were Scientologists and they were there with some gismo to hook up to her.
We later learned that she had kicked them out on several other occasions but they keep coming back. Which gives a whole new meaning to..."Their here."

MrsMac and I lived in a three story high "projects type" apartment in North Philly before we moved to Washington state. We would bomb for roaches on Monday and by Wednesday they would be back because the folks in the apartment below us had just bombed their apartment.
We lived with a mild level of fear for our safety so I kept an old Savage shotgun locked and loaded with 00 buck just in case in the corner by the bed and carried a handgun outside of the apartment with no CCW as I was on probation for something else at the time. Another story...
MrsMac and I moved from their in 1980 to Washington State because we had nothing to loose. Especially since a local heroin dealer (Crazy Harry) had put a contract out on my life two months earlier. :hiding: Yet another story for another day.
So when you moved from that kind of drama to a squeaky clean area like Bellevue, WA. (Just outside of Seattle) into an apartment that didn't have cockroaches, a land lord that cared about his tenants and only a few Washington State hoodlums (Pussy's really) that were afraid of a few bible thumpers (In Philly we wouldn't ask them not to come back - We would give them reason not to come back) it was nirvana to us.
We both had real jobs with just a little retailing on the side for fun and profit. Heck we were feeling like a King and Queen. :dancingBanana: :dance:

I have heard from a reliable source that the UP patch is also bullet proof. It has been reported to me that bullets just bounce off it with NO trauma to the wearer.
