just once I would like to see a movie where I can say "wow dude is smart," "good call pulling up stakes" or "nice lp/op."

Dare to dream..

Until then I leave you with a wicked 'shoot and scoot' out of Syria, thanks for sharing RS762!

Then they got hungry and went to Allan's Snackbar for some nachos.

I had to look up "newfie" in the urban dictionary.
So basically, they're a Canadian version of a redneck?

Went to see it when it first came out. There weren't many guy movies out when we went to see it so I was happy my wife actually liked it. If it weren't for the fat drunk wannabe redneck across the row it would have been nicer. See, if you're going to say "wtf" and offer up corrections as to "how it should be" in a movie theater; it's good manners to not do so by throwing popcorn at the screen and spitting drink and food while you yell at the actors. Also helps if you look the part. I can't imagine the main character weighing 350 at about 5'9" and surviving more than a week without some Arby's. I'd watch it again if it came up on tv some night, but it'd have to be on when nothing else was.
