By the RV, a little more than half-way through the show. Shane, the ex-LEO who is still acting like he is one in WROL or something, said, yeah, we're not going to give you back YOUR pistol because you might shoot one of us, you might shoot at a leaf making noise, or may shoot at the wrong time, and get a whole bunch of walkers coming down all of them, killing them all. It was Dale that took her gun from her because he thinks she'll kill herself at any moment, and then Shane backed him up, and said that she wasn't trained like HE was, and that she wouldn't get the gun back until she could be trained in how to use it. He also said that only the trained people should have guns, mainly just the men. Of course, then Lori, then gets a pistol on her way back, just because Rick says so, but they keep the blonde lady from having HER OWN pistol back. Bunch of BS I think. She has just as much a right to have her firearm and be able to protect herself as the rest of them.
In a SHTF situation like that, nobody should be taking anyone's guns away, especially when she has proved she knows how to use it and has been safe with it in the past. Why the sudden change of heart now? Its just typically gun control BS, you have to be "formally trained" before we'll let you have your own firearm, but the COPS wife can have one, because she's more important than the rest of you ladies. Stinks of BS and bias on their part.
