I liked the look on Shane's face when he was in the bus and was being left to die.  It was kind of like Oh Crap!  I'm going to get what's coming to me.

I still think that Shane and that one blonde chick that did him in the car are going to get serious.  They are kind of alike.  Then everyone is going to think that Shane dies for some reason and Rick will be comforting her out behind the barn.  Then Shane will show back up and Oh Crap, she's pregnant.

I read on wikipedia that in the comic: Rick's wife, Lori, dies and the Blonde chick, Andrea, lives but the two never hooked up.

Even though its the end of the world Rick is going to end up working to support Shane's kids! The welfare system is a stuff beast to slay, indeed.

If not, I think this is a major continuity problem with the writers.

I think it's coming. Notice when they got there and killed the two walkers through the fence they pointed out the two guys had no bite marks and only a few scratches. I tried to watch his hands as much as possible though when he was in there because I'm thinking the same thing. I also heard the guy who plays Shane just signed on for another show and if you're going by the comic he's already made it a lot farther than he should have. My $.02 I bet his ass eats lead by the end of the season. Probably season finale. The character's an ass anyways. Even after Rick could've wasted his ass or left him for dead he still acts like he's not fit to lead? Bullshit. I'd keep the new kid and tell Shane and Andrea to piss off.

I say BS, and bad form on the writers if they make it that way.  What a bunch of BS?!?!

What virus is only contracted through a bite, and a bite alone.  Its not freaking venom, the virus went through their whole bodies, that's why their body died, was because of the high fever it creates, then it re-animates the brain and the rudimentary nervous system, but nothing else. 

He better become a zombie or I'm calling BS on the writers.

Still don't get why he didn't just go to the back of the bus and run out the way he ended up doing anyways. It didn't seem like they were any faster than they usually are. And he didn't hurt his ankle like with Otis.

My thinking as well.  The blood has to contain the virus, as does all the flesh and cells.

If its not a virus and it is a bacteria or an allergent or something else, then it might have a unique way of infecting, but I think that's a BS long shot, especially, since its a bite that usually does the infecting.
