just to throw this out there, this is the longest and most aggrivating game install/setup I've ever experienced. big thumbs down right off the bat. this motherfucker better blow my mind to make up for this miserable setup process.

Alas, I recently sold my 360 so I did not buy the game... but my brother did! lol.
I have not played the campaign yet, going to my next day off he's promised me, but I did watch him play multiplayer online and got to do so myself. By far my biggest bitch about it so far.......
NO SPLIT SCREEN!!!
This thoroughly pisses me off as there are not enough of these games out there and it sucks having to watch someone that may not be a noob but just sucks play...
Here's my thought from my time playing (and watching) the multiplayer:
-100 CONNECTION - granted most games, especially those filled with this much AWESOME have this issue at release it is difficult sometimes to stay connected or even to connect to the servers. I'm hoping this will be addressed promptly seeing as how unlike PC, consoles cannot have private servers (I assume lol)
Battlefield has stayed true to the name... Battlefield IS Battlefield. As soon as I spawned into the game I was IMMEDIATELY taken back to the time when I played BF2 HARDCORE. I spawned in on the US carrier so finding my way around on it was just like BF2, as was manning the defense Gatling (which is a great tool in the right hands ;D ).
The controls for the helicopter we simple and took me only a moment to work out on the controller and I was back in my element! Veterans of BF2 should have no trouble getting back into the fight, even after a little time away from the game. (My brother had been playing the game for a good while and was already a ways into the campaign. He plays games like CoD alot too but he was always in about the middle when it came to the game end. The one round I played I got the top spot :)) )
The controls are easy to figure out and work with.
The graphics are AMAZING! The Frostbite 2 Engine and Destructible environments add a whole new level to the game.
The soundtrack for the game is sick as well.
The mechanics seem great to me, had no problems myself and only came across a few issues while my brother was playing.
I love the flashlight/laser "blinding" and also the blurred screen from suppression.

I would recommend this game to any gamers just for the multiplayer aspects of it. I will play the campaign myself soon and return to you with my review on it.

so I gotta say, the storyline and campaign mode in general were pretty fucking solid. a bit short, but that seems to be the case with most 1p shooters these days.
SPOILER
one thing that kinda creeped me out was the story. it was solid for sure, but it gave me a case of the heebie jeebies... fuckin war in Iran sparks a nuclear war with Russia???? fuck.
then on top of that, I thought it was a bit distasteful that in a couple of levels, you play as a Russian soldier and you have to kill Americans.
multiplayer is.... a bit intimidating... I find it difficult to even find an enemy to shoot before I get picked off... then again I was the same way with COD for the first few times I played it.
overall I give the game 9/10

it's a bit annoying to have to install games on your PC instead of just popping the disk in like consoles, but IMO the gaming experience is superior on PC. plus don't you have to pay for xbox live? Steam has always been free, and now EA's "Origin" program is free too. (http://yoursmiles.org/p-m

If you play often a console is better for sure, but I barely play computer games, so I just play them in the PC, and when my PC cant handle them anymore I just start playing old stuff :D

I may not like the game, because of past retardation.
But this is the best trailer I have seen for anything. Movie, game, sex. Doesn't matter. In a very very long time. I think I was grinning the entire time.
