I am almost finished
Black Autumn written by Jeff Kirkham & Jason Ross. I started it soon after it came and then I put it down not interested. Not interested because the authors willingly have presented bad information about amateur radio. Every time I read ham radio disinformation in the book, I would just put the book down.
With Kirkham, being a retired Green Beret (29-year veteran) I just do not get it. After all, the roll of the 18E, Communications Sergeant, is probably one of the most crucial parts of any SFOD-A detachment.
Since, Kirkham was a SF guy, he would have cross trained with all members of the detachment. He should know the differences between UHF, VHF, HF and the use of the equipment.
I have about 15-pages to go BUT, just had to express my 2 cents worth.
I will do a sperate review on Black Autumn later.
