OK forum members, the FCC will vote whether .gov will take over the internet on February 26, 2015. If you do not want the government to take over the internet, I suggest you speak up now or forever hold your peace. Once the "camels nose" gets under the side of the tent - There is no going back.

I have copied and pasted each commissioner's email address to make it easy for you. You just have to click on their name to be directed to their email site. I have also posted below a generic letter. Copy and paste it or come up with your own.

Pretty simple. It took me less then five minutes to send my protest letter from below.

Chairman Tom Wheeler
Commissioner Mignon Clyburn
Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel
Commissioner Ajit Pai
Commissioner Michael O'Rielly

Dear Mr/Ms FCC Board member name

I am sending this letter to you during the "public comment" period concerning the FCC taking over the internet under the Net Neutrality excuse.

I do not support the FCC taking this action today nor in the foreseeable future.

Currently the internet as we know it, needs to be protected from politics so that the First Amendment to the Bill of Rights of the US Constitution, is not restricted in any way . If the FCC where to take over the internet, this control could and would be used by whomever holds political office at "that time".

Sincerely,
Your Name

FCC's Chairman Wheeler will be releasing the new Net-Neutrality regulations on Friday February 27, 2015. Typically, the FCC releases new regulations and invites input from the public, the people the FCC serves. In this case there will be no public debate. FCC Commissioner Pai has asked, "Why?" You should be asking "Why?"

Once I read this I thought of former Speaker Pelosi's statement on the Affordable Care Act:

Pelosi: "We Have to Pass the Bill So That You Can Find Out What Is In It"

Stay tuned......
