Johny, I watched it earlier in the day.  I found it to be sad, kind of like the predicament we find ourselves now.  There's no way to vote ourselves out of this.  Folks need to prepare.  Food will be used as a tool.  The creator of the video is supposedly working on a sequel, it will be interesting to see what he comes up with.  Go Wolverines!

JM, I watched it yesterday but was not able to comment then.
I liked it and also the fact that the girl dumped the brainwashed idiot.

Watched this, can't recall where.
jackalope is so right about preparing/food.
I'm talking up heirloom seed-to-seed vegie gardening in my neighborhood and have been fairly well received there - will be sharing seeds even this Spring from stock I harvest/stored from last year.
Corn will be high on list I hope - it dries and stores well.
Shelled and ground some yesterday, made yummy corn pancakes this morning.

Felix, corn meal pancakes in New England are called "Johnycakes". In May, a lot of churches will hold May Day Breakfasts. The breakfast would consist of,

Johnycakes
Fried smoked ham
Baked beans
Church ladies made pastries
Awful church coffee, tea, orange juice, cranberry juice, etc.

MrsMac and I would try to go to as many as we could in May. June would start the clam and lobster bakes.

Wow!    Johnnycakes!   Who knew?   I'm ignorant of Eastern lore, that's for sure.   Must have been some "sympathy vibes" or something, getting me prepped for next month?     I have the ham to go with 'em as well!
The beans?   Have two varieties ready to share for planting, would have to get into my pinto storage stash or open some canned ones.   :-)
But now this gets me to thinking - I'm probably late chitting my prospective potato plantings, best get back outside and get busy!
(was trying to get a 50 year-old RV oven out in the bothy to work so I could toast oak wood for whisky aging/conditioning, the wife-person isn't too keen on me using the house for such)

LOL. My father use to live in Williams, AZ. He turned his front yard into a garden and use to grow all kinds of items including potatoes.

One time I called him up to find out how he was doing; he told me it was so dry he saw two trees fighting over a dog  :lmfao:

Peace be with you
