"The Minstrel Boy"
« on: June 22, 2016, 07:25:20 AM »
Ran across this little diddly this morning and just had to share.

"The Minstrel Boy" is an Irish patriotic song written by Thomas Moore (17791852) who set it to the melody of The Moreen, an old Irish air. It is widely believed that Moore composed the song in remembrance of a number of his friends,[1] whom he met while studying at Trinity College, Dublin and who had participated in (and were killed during) the Irish Rebellion of 1798.

I heard the first verse on ST-TNG.  Tried to find it once and could not.  Glad you did.

If you need a second magazine, its time to call in air support.

God created Man, Col. Sam Colt made him equal, John Moses Browning turned equality to perfection, Gaston Glock turned perfection into plastic fantastic junk.
