Title: The Preppers Bluprint
Post by: JoJo on June 14, 2018, 08:38:12 PM
I knew I was having a minor operation that would ground me for seven days so I bought a couple of prepping books. One a big blue book, larger that an AMERICAN RIFLEMAN magazine with over 400 pages. One of my complaints with this book is all of the pages had very wide margins, top bottom left and right. Some pages only had one paragraph with three lines. Pages were very thick. The make up of the book seemed to me was to make it look very important. If done differently the book would be 1/2 it's size and more manageable to read.
I got the feeling that each chapter was written with a lawyer looking over the writers shoulder. One such tip was that canned goods should only be kept for one year. I got the impression the writer was talking about store bought cans which normally has a date of two years stamped on them.
The information was all basic, basic stuff. The writer goes on to mention what you should have for any emergency, it would take a millionaire to buy most of the stuff.
I bought the writers other book. "The Preppers Cookbook" and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lots of information I never thought about.
