New...now what
« on: July 19, 2014, 04:52:09 PM »
Brief intro:  Military background, live in the rural forest of north GA, grow my own food, hunt, make my own whiskey.
I have been looking into M.A.G's
If anyone has advice on how I get started in starting a group it would be great!

Welcome HH to the campfire.

Rather eclectic group of folks with a broad range of experience from new to old prepper. Don't hesitate jumping in when you see something interesting or want to share your experience and or knowledge.

Watch out for Burt though...He is as smart as a whip  :whip:  ;)

Welcome aboard HH

I never heard of a MAG before, at least not by that name, but maybe is because I'm from Argentina.

Welcome HH, not far from you, lower Mid TN. You ain't planning on putting  'old Jack' up here in TN out of business are ya ? As a certified "official taster".... never mind I'll stay on topic.

As far as MAGS go, Charley Hogwood is supposed to be one of the go to peeps about this matter, has a book and is interviewed regularly on blog radios and the APN network. I think he also does some "guest" article writing for some like minded sites as well. Might search for him and I'm fairly certain you'll find plenty of reading and some leads to follow.
