Hello, I just met John at the Brushbeater RTO class this weekend.

Great class and highly recommend checking it out by the way.

My name is Bryan and was one of the crazy tent campers at the RTO class. I will read through forums and glad Matt recommended we check it out. It was a pleasure meeting and training with you Johnymac.


I have my general but still learning more everyday and trying to get more radio time in when I can.

Currently live near Richmond VA.

Please do not be shy and jump in to help a member if they have a question and you have the knowledge. Along with that, feel free to ask a question or voice an opinion.

For UP forum members, Zeerf is a great guy and cooks a mean steak I met at Brushbeater's RTO class this weekend. To be honest, all of the folks at the class were great!

I will post a AAR on the class later today however in short, the class was great!

About the Richmond part, I am 10 miles WSW of Lynchburg.

Erick is (iirc) near the Richmond also.

What part of near Richmond are you.

thanks all! and Sadly I can not take credit for the steak cooking (that was Dave for the smaller 2 that he brought with him) but yes we had some great food all weekend!

I am just NW Short Pump area currently. Hope to get more west towards Powhatan or some of acceptable rural area fiancee would also be happy with :)

Appears to be tons of great info and folks here. Looking forward to networking and sharing info as we go along.
