I'm new. I've been prepping for awhile and thought this website was interesting. I'm not the type to give up a lot of info on my prepping but I expect to read and comment on topics that I know something about.

Welcome to Unchainedpreppers pkveazey!
A rather small but eclectic group of preppers here. Knowledge ranges from expert to just getting the bug so don't hesitate asking questions or jumping in to help out a fellow member.
The archives are full of ~6 years worth of great stuff so take some time to check them out to maybe answer a question you might have.
Again, welcome.

Welcome and we applaud OPSEC.

Thanks to all for your welcoming comments. I sure wish someone would tell me how to change that Prepper Apprentice thingy. I've been a committed prepper for about 8 years. Everytime I sign in I see that title under my name and go Grrrrr.

Those are adjusted and earned by the number of posts you make. More relevant posts increase and you earn higher ratings. Happens automatically so just contribute good stuff. You are well on the way.
Of course they must be more than just-- Great Idea -- type comments. There are powers that be that make the decisions regarding counting. I am not one of those.

Nemo is 100% correct. Post and you too can reach 500 posts and get a Unchained Prepper patch. A highly coveted patch for your hat, gunslinger vest, BOB, shoulder, etc. I wear one on my PJ's. ;) :dancingBanana:

I did not need to know that. Specifically needed to NOT know it. I cannot get the idea out of my head that you just might have to test each patch before sending them out.
I think I must have my entire hat run through the washer, dryer and steamer before I put that patched hat on again.
