Hey everyone, I'm Greg and I'm from California. I've been looking for a good resource for survival/minimalist camping. I was referred here.

I spent 4 years in the Army infantry with a deployment to Afghanistan.  :boltAction:

I had absolutely no idea that there was a significant native presence along the west coast pre-colonization, probably because they made contact so early on. ( I live in the midwest )

We were ruled by the Spaniards, and at one point, because of a bounty on our heads, we disappeared. We were thought to be extinct for a century.

Anthropologically speaking, we're one of the oldest tribes in the New World, coming shortly after the Inuits.
