Hi. Not much of interest to say about me. I'm raising a family in eastern Washington. Had some very limited army experience a long time ago. Lived in a lot of different states. Have driven across most of the rest. Amateur Extra radio person. AmRRON member. Active in our local community preparedness group. We're decent sized and run a small preparedness expo most years. Found out about this site because someone linked to one of our web-page articles in a post here.
I just noticed that NC Scout recently joined; I took an RTO class with him last year. I recommend that to anyone who wants to learn more about operating with his/her radio.

Greetings and Salutations Good Sir. Hail and Well Met.
We have a fair number of radio gents here. I can barely operated a rotary dial phone so I am not one of them.

Hey Bazooka Joe welcome to the forum!
We are an interesting group of preppers covering all different factions of the political spectrum BUT dedicated to prepping.
NCScout is a great guy, which I know you already know. As a matter of fact I and other Unchainedpreppers are headed to his class this weekend in NC.
ERIN (Eastern Region Intelligence Network) and Unchainedpreppers hold a monthly net to check out our equipment and to prepare for communicating during a SHTF world. PM me if you are interested in participating.
Check out our archives as many topics have already been covered starting in 2011 with MrLocknLoad - Then Straightprep, and then in 2014 with Unchainedpreppers - A great linage with a bunch of great stuff in the archives.
As a side note: MrsMac and I lived in the Seattle area, off & on, from 1980 till 1995. Although not Spokane or WSU country, we are still brothers. Go DAWGS not Cougars. LOL.
Welcome

I'll add my welcome too! It's always good to get another radio operator on the forum.
