I just wanted to say hello. I was on a few years back and am just returning. I've really missed this forum. A lot has gone on in my personal life. Some readjustments and such. I recognize some of the names and there are some that I don't. For the ones I do, I'm glad to be able to reconnect with you. For the ones I don't, I'm looking forward to getting to know you.

I will do that Special-K. Thanks for the welcome back! I saw something about the patch earlier. Not looking a gift horse in the mouth, but was curious as to what they looked like. Is there a pic? Either way, I would be honored to have one.

Thanks JM ! I've missed this place. I was without a computer for a while. Other than working for the next 4 or 5 months, before retiring, I'm pretty much living like a hermit. I LOVE IT ! I'm back here in a cabin, in the woods, with the deer, bears, and turkeys. There's something at my back porch everyday. Sometimes several times a day. It's exactly a mile to my mail box. Got my kids grown. They're out on their own, well and hard working. I did lose my wife though. She passed two years ago this December, ( on my birthday ) so now it's just me. My kids visit as often as they can. They love it back here in the woods. Anyway, great to be back.

Where is them woods you are referring to? Sounds like an area I might want to see if I can find a spot a holla or 2 over.

Northwest Pa. I love it here ! I like the four seasons, but am getting tired of driving in snow. When I retire, I can just sit in the cabin, eat soup and watch it snow from the window. Where do you hail from Nemo?

Excess info in response to your question. Mom was from Kittanning and Dad was a Punxsy boy.
I moved to Va, Culpeper area, for 10th grade from Bradford County Pa and stayed there 30 couple years. Left about 12 years ago and returned to Lynchburg where I am now.
The time away convinced me I am a Virginnie boy at heart.

Yeah. I'm N.W. of Kittanning, along the Allegheny river. I was down around Culpeper when I was in the Navy. Visited my buddy and his wife. Went and saw Skyline drive in a Volkswagon microbus.lol Pretty down there.
