Title: Getting Established in AR
Post by: iwasnevergivenaname on January 16, 2022, 05:06:07 PM
I've been stuck in the suburbs most of my life, but I've finally been able to free my family and get a bit more rural. We are developing some property in Arkansas and hope to complete the move late this year.

I was in the Army and I'm glad to be here.

Hey IWNGAN, welcome this eclectic group.

Do not hesitate asking any questions if you need some advise on a project. Similarly, if you know the answer to someone elses question, please jump in and share your experiences and/or advise.

Welcome

Whoa!!!!  My "Desert SW 7,000 ft elevation location" might not be the end game here.  I'm currently looking at property in Idaho, Missouri _and_ Arkansas.   Specifically, the upper northwest part of AR, the upper west half of MO.    Lots of value for the money.
If I don't pay too much worry for the occasional twister, ideas of what you found?   Where you concentrated search?   I have a friend on 160 acres near Rolla MO but can only afford want/to work 5 to 20 some acres...
