ARES net

(1/1)

pkveazey:
I always check in to the local 2 meter ARES net on Wednesday nights. For those who are not HAM radio operators, ARES is an acronym for Amateur Radio Emergency Service. In a round about way that would include Prepping for some sort of disaster or social collapse. Anyway, the Net Operator asked me during the net if I would be willing to come to one of their meetings and talk about Prepping. My response was, "Yes, but it is a bit late to be asking". If I do it, it should be very soon. I told them that the collapse has already begun and most people aren't aware of it due to Normalcy Bias. I guess I'll have to sit at the computer and write out a bunch of topics. I think that one thing that is going to be a big surprise is that not all preppers agree on all issues.

JohnyMac:
Cool. Wish I could help.

Felix:
Better late than never.
