BTW- saying "yes" to TG is like passing a legislative bill.  You have to pay very close attention to all of the shit tacked on.  He has very rigid ideas about what a wife should do, some of which is illegal in most states, not to mention I wouldn't have time to work, with all of the tortilla making and sewing...   ;D

Whoa, Whoa, Whoa... T-Girl you sew? I wasn't aware that women under the retirement age could sew. Always thought it was a special ability that came in the mail with the first social security check. Where are these rare specimens kept, because my sewing is terrible, effective but terrible.

When we get home I will have to see if I have any left post the flood. I know that most of my negatives got thrown out as they were ruined. But I may have a pic or two stuck between pages in a book being used as a book mark.

I admire many super hero's, too many to list them all here.  They are super hero's to me because in brief moments, during overwhelming times, they made extraordinary choices.

I tell one because they consisted of a group.   William B. Travis,  James Bowie,  Davy Crockett, and 179 other men looked over the ramparts of the Alamo at Antonio L?pez de Santa Anna's magnificently attired 1500 man army. When ordered to surrender or die they replied in laymen's terms, "Go F*** Yourself!"
(In an interesting side note. Last week, Travis's letter sent out by currier at night between Mexican lines, which asked all Americans who sided with freedom and liberty to come to the aid of the men in San Antonio, returned to the Alamo for the first time since it left 177 years earlier.)

As I said, there are many super hero's I have admired.  They have already made those extraordinary kinds of choices in their lifetimes.   I wonder who will be the super hero's of tomorrow.

I have been known to sew, not well, but it has happened a few times out of necessity.  Most of it is good from far, but far from good.  TG hosts a fantasy of having homemade jeans and shirts, but I would rather stitch a wound than fabric.  I can also knit-- ask TG about his 8 ft long scarf, or the knit cap that wouldn't even fit a baby's head  :)) 

Like you said, CS, my sewing is also terrible, but effective.  At the end of the day, I know that I could stitch a man into his bed sheets, make a festive pillow case to fill with oranges or soap, and beat the sass right out of him.  Not to get all Martha Stewart on you, but a little club soda will get the blood right out  ;)

BTW- the movie we gave Walker was "Idiocracy", great premise, horrible movie.

Okay, I'll quit teasing and ease your worried minds.  I'm an old fashion gal in a lot of ways and we will get married before kiddos, we just have to wait a couple of years til I'm done with school.  I'm having enough trouble keeping the two of us fed healthy, in clean clothes (well, before I go out and get sap on everything at work), and not living in our own filth while I work 40-80 hours depending on the week, (my record was 136 hrs one week-- oh, grad school), so the baby thing ain't happening now.  Thanks for the concern and the vote of confidence that our genes are worth passing on!

Really? everyone had a pair of checker board vans.  Wrestling shoes are great as long as you don't walk over any rocks in them.  I just picked up mine from my folks house-- still fit too, just a little dusty...
