I am sure there is a legal reason however, I keep asking myself why doesn't Texas do something with the horde coming across the border?

Any thoughts from this illustrious group?

Actually I'm shocked that the people who own property along the border haven't stepped up to protect their property

If they did, in the current climate they would be arrested.  Net loss for the good guys.
Perhaps there's a feeling if they let things go public opinion might turn around and bite Washington in the ass?

I remember a few years ago when blm tried to take land from ranchers and then fine them crazy money. The ranchers stood up for their rights and hundreds of other "ranchers" from around the country drove to his location for an armed standoff. Before that was Ruby Ridge. The People are getting less and less tolerant of these types of overreach

"We must all hang together or most assuredly we will all hang separately" - Ben Franklin post signing the Declaration of Independence.

Heck, didn't Davy Crocket die defending Texas?
