Title: The election
Post by: pkveazey on November 08, 2016, 11:06:04 PM
I've been watching the election results come in and at this point I'm concerned. If things don't go well, I'm afraid I'm going to have to double down on my already extensive prepping. This crap is costing me a ton of money. I swear I could hire a couple  of Forest Gump types and run the country better.

Things been going great!
Right now to win Trump only needs to take the states he is already leading in and can even afford to lose one.

Clinton to win had to take all states she is leading in plus a couple Trump is leading in.

I invested  a lot in certain things to hedge a Clinton presidency but now....

As of now, 2355 EST,

I dont know about you guys but despite my support and sneaking suspicion all along Trump would win, I am a bit scared.  He get Pa he win.

He gets MI he wins.  He gets AZ and one other state, he wins.

Then whereDF are we?

WOW! We sure dodged a bullet tonight. Now I can get back to my regular schedule of slow and easy stockpiling of supplies.

While the rest of us start ramping up our prepping for when the Brownshirts for Trump start marching in the street and when he dumps us headlong into nuclear war.  This is not happy-making news for half the country.  I know I'm hunkering down for the next few months.

I too am hunkering down for the next 6 months but for different reasons.

As I have posted before, it will not matter if Clinton or Trump becomes President, bad things seem to happen within the first 6-10 months of a new Presidents term. And we gotz a lot of stuff going on around the globe.

Your right JohnyMac the protests/riots have already started.    http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/10/us/trump-election-protests.html?_r=0 (http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/10/us/trump-election-protests.html?_r=0)   Just like they did
when Mitt Romney lost. OH WAIT NO THE DIDN'T.
Iran is  already flexing it's muscle's and the News Media is quiet about N Korea and China. Putin wants to talk with our new President to try and calm things down.
We'll just have to wait and see.

Yeah, the Soros/Moveon.org funded protests have started, but notice that they're only in large urban cities.  It's strange that they don't occur in rural areas (I say that with maximum sarcasm).  As I've stated before, we're screwed no matter who won the election.  I don't see the country realistically uniting, because of the extreme division which has amplified during the Obama years.  Rather than prolong the agony, the country should divide into two portions.  Looking at a voting map, it appears that by land area, about 95% of the country is right leaning, and only about 5% leftist/progressive.
