opinion on weapons trade.
« on: September 13, 2011, 06:09:03 PM »
I have an offer on a Interarms X Mini Mauser in 5.56/223 with a scope and it is in excellent condition. plus 500 rounds of Federal American Eagle  7.62x51
Or Two 400 round spam cans of 1974 Head Stamped M-80 Ball  7.62x51

For the Sig.

Now keep in mind if I do that, I'm not getting any cash. And If I would get cash I would purchase a reloading bench and some getups.

Help a brother out. Give your opinions please.

if you're aiming for cash then no. if reloading is your interest, then you should go for cash and hit up Unbroken. (then maybe you could afford to feed that Socom...)

S/A Magazine's are $55.00 a piece.

Check mate IND produces some decent one's that the army uses, but from what I have experienced they are just as crappy as the Koreans shit.
So S/A is all I'm willing to run and at 55 a piece that can just shove off.
I'll stick to 12-15 dollar FAL mags.

From what I understand, S/A buys their mags from Checkmate Industries and stamps them with S/A seal. Go to this link for the 20-rd mags, brand new, from Checkmate Industries. Currently, they are $27.00 each, free shipping.

If that is really the case. then I don't want anything to do with the M1A any longer. I've seen to many of the CMI mags fail.

Makes me sad to ditch such an awesome platform.
