Helene Post Storm Threat (Disease)
« on: October 06, 2024, 07:59:06 AM »
So, hurricane is over, but the big killer could easily be yet to show it head: disease.  We have a lot of standing water containing corpses and raw sewage.  In the third world , this is the cocktail that kills those near or in contact with the water.  People tend to use their local water as a toilet, Americans are no different. Watch a large lake with people camping, especiall near nightfall or early morning when they think that nobody is watching.  So, expect:

Common waterborne diseases include:
Cholera: A disease transmitted through contaminated water and poor sanitation
Diarrhea: A symptom of waterborne illness
Dysentery: A disease that can be prevented by washing hands with soap, drinking bottled water, and avoiding street food
Hepatitis A: A viral pathogen that can cause waterborne illness
Typhoid fever: A disease transmitted through contaminated water and poor sanitation
Giardiasis: A disease caused by parasites like Cryptosporidium and Giardia
Legionnaires' disease: A waterborne disease
Vibriosis: A waterborne disease
E. coli infection: A waterborne illness caused by bacteria
Salmonellosis: A waterborne illness caused by bacteria
Botulism: A rare but serious illness caused by the Clostridium botulinum bacteria

The big threat is the overreaction by .gov using the Pandemic 2.0 as an excuse for even more emergency powers, election tampering and etc.

Food For Thought ( be sure to wash your hands and eating utensils BEFORE eating...)

Prepper or Survivalist ?

A Prepper keeps survival rations for his pets.

A Survivalist  keeps pets as survival rations.

No real problem.
KJP assures us that this video is nothing but a staged, cheap fake.   And Hillary would like to punish anyone who spreads such hateful misinformation.
Are these two individuals dangerous?
Nope. The fools that support them, cower in abject herd denial and terror are the true danger.   And they are all around us.

Is not the plausibility of a scenario like those painted by Schlichter and Bracken becoming greater by the week?

Okay, there are a lot of stories circulating around. First I didn't take them as credible then I started to change my mind because....

If there is smoke there is fire. The stories, videos, and personal testimonials are ALL describing relief efforts. So to be the devils advocate let's say that only 50% of the reports are accurate. That is way to high.

I have connections in Tennessee that are reporting similar with a slight twist. LEO's primarily county Sheriffs, are confiscating humanitarian supplies that are entering TN. The supplies are then being rerouted to central locations and being "inventoried" and redistributed. The TEMA agency (TN version of FEMA) is then expecting citizens to make their way to central locations to get supplies and then going home with them.

The challenge is, most humanitarian aide was being dropped of at churches in the hundreds of communities affected by Helene to distribute locally. Now instead of churches distributing aide locally, now the people who need it must go to a facility, often many miles from their town and then go home with the aide.

As a side note, I am working with a church group in Southern PA that is leaving here with supplies on Saturday. I have been asked to collaborate with their comms guy for the trip down/back and while on the ground there. I will keep UP subscribers in the loop.

Stay tuned,

Just what the govt is best at.

Saving us from ourselves.  And remember, they are from the govt and there to help.

If you need a second magazine, its time to call in air support.

Hmmmm.... I think the local LEO's are taking advantage of the people's ignorance. Let's see...... I bought and own the stuff that I'm carrying. Until I give it to someone else, it's still my property. The thing to do is to video record any interaction with anyone operating under color of law. If they try to seize your property, just ask these questions. Are you seizing my property for the common good? (probably, Yes) Are you seizing my property through Due Process of Law? (Court Order. Probably not.) When can I expect to be paid Fair Market Value for my property? (Probably will be told Never.) OK, they can seize your property, but they must do it through due process, and you must be paid fair market value. If they miss any one of those steps, they have violated your civil rights under the 5th amendment and it falls under Title 18, Section 242 of the United States Code. The Federal Courts have ruled that you still maintain your civil rights during an emergency. i.e. Hurricane Katrina.
