Leave The World Behind

Sir John,

Leave the World Behind is a thrilling piece of work that strikes the right balance of apocalyptic tension and realism, and part of the reason why it was able to accomplish this was because of Barack Obama's contributions. The psychological thriller is based on Rumaan Alam's 2020 novel of the same name, which achieved critical acclaim. It follows the story of two families whose lives become intertwined after a blackout becomes a major crisis. The film adaptation of Leave the World Behind boasts an incredible and star-studded cast who strongly contributes to the way the twists and turns of the book expertly come to life on screen. - SCREENRANT

Interesting.

Sir John Honeybucket:
Is it true that in this movie, the Communist Chinese used fully electric cargo planes to air-drop critical supplies like soy milk, insect protein and tranny hormones in recycled, biodegradable packaging to save the trendy hipsters at their multimillion dollar 'retreat'??

Nemo:
I found another (relevant to here) movie coming out soon.

This also looks plausible.

Due for release April 26.  Prediction or warning?

DMCakhunter:
I enjoyed the movie.
Yes, there are obvious groaning parts, but it did showcase a weakness I hadn't thought about.
Hacking into new/any Tesla cars and causing them to get into accidents to plug up roadways. Original
Could apply to anything automated where humans cannot intervene.
