Read any of his books? WSJ thinks well of him.

Paywall, unable to check link directly.
But a quick query with the Google Monster shows he's someone I will be reading.
Thanks for the intro/query, Nemo!

Jack Carr writes very good novels that I enjoy quite a bit The Terminal List has also been made into a decent adaptation with Chris pratt in the starring role (note it is an adaptation, not a direct retelling of the novel)- worth the watch on Amazon

No books here for a while. The "rescue"
Dog ate my Kindle. I am about ready to skin him out to make a winter vest.

I can empathize with you, Sir John. My puppies have chewed up at least 10 books during the past two days. I thought they were growing out of the 'chew anything they can find' stage, but alas that's not the case. And they have plenty of chew toys available too, which makes it especially frustrating.

If they can find a downed bird you shot in thick cover or will swim for a downed duck, ask yourself... "can my Kindle do that?".
If they will come up to you when you're feeling down and look deep into your eyes when nobody else has the time of day for you, ask yourself, "can my Kindle do that"?
When your Kindle dies (for whatever reason), does it break your heart like when your dog has to leave you for that crossing of the rainbow bridge?
Nawwww.... didn't think so.
Merry Christmas all. Guess whose dogs got extra treats today - regardless of their naughty/nice tally. ;-)
