That's good to hear, WW! If you're still having problems though, be sure to follow up on it-- the squeaky wheel gets the grease.
A nurse friend of mine that recently fractured her foot said that fractures don't always show up on x-rays, or at least not until they've begun to heal and show calcification. She said she had four different doctors look at her x-rays and only one of them was able to see the fracture in her foot. Not that I'm doubting the power of prayer, but you (WW) should get a second opinion to be safe.
My ordeal has been very minor compared to what WW, EJR and others have been through, but it's taken me about 4 months to find out officially that I tore my rotator cuff, a diagnosis Walker came up with the first week of my injury without an MRI. Now I'm in limbo waiting to meet with an orthopedic surgeon so he can tell me I need surgery on my shoulder.
Just like everything else, there's too much red tape to get efficient medical care...
