welll guys... I'm fullly finished.. I'm now a combat medic. Took me a long 6 months of training.. I'm finally home. Feels good to be finally done.

I didn't know how hard it was to become a medic until I got there. My platoon started out with 87 and we graduated 47. The others couldn't cut it and got re-classed to a easier MOS.

pretty much how to treat any battlefield injury. burns, gun shots, shrapnel. Medications and doses.

how to save a life to sum it all up. I wish I could elaborate more but its not really "type able knowledge." allot of body functions.

allot of being able to spot life threats, std's, infections. I don't know open heart surgery but I know what to do for anything treatable.

People do change mos's allot. My drill SGT had 2 different jobs. My platoon SGT in AIT had 3. Its normal to do your job for a while and reclassify as something else. When I get a chance im changing mine to EOD! Now thats 2 awesome skills to have in WROL. :p

Yeah dude EOD is a really kewl skill set. and its a very small community of people nationwide who can do it well. So yes it would be a marketable skill to have in good and bad times bro.

I would never work one of those. I'd go awol before then. If i was working one it'll be just to get on the "inside." to do more harm

In my previous job we did some work with a us mil subcontractor EODT. Fucking badass former mil guys. I got to meet a few of them. Boy they had some serious stories from Iraq.
