One of the other posts reminded me about this. BUG OUT BAGS: What do I need in my bug out bag. Well, I could give a list of all kinds of things that you need but then I'd get a bunch of, "But what about this and what about that?" Put whatever you think you're going to need in it but don't overlook the importance of MONEY. I put 20 one ounce Silver Rounds and a lot of Cash in mine. Being able to pay to stay at someone's house or a hotel overnight is way better than sleeping the woods with the creepy crawlies. Paper dollars will not add any weight to you bag but 20 ounces of Silver will. I don't care. If that cash becomes worthless then I've still got Silver. Just remember carrying Silver is like carrying Food. The longer you're out there the lighter your load becomes.
