OK All....

I have a massive amount of kit here that I we have decided to move on after our inventory.

As JM has requested. We wish to provide those here with first dibs on the stuff.

Some of this is stuff you cannot get over there.

My problem is that I need to come up with an economical way to get it over to you all from the UK.

Looking for input and options.

Cheers all.

What kind of kit are we talking about Gadget?

*I recently scored a tactical tailor MALICE pack V2 new with tags from a surplus site for a steal. Turned out to be a V3 with Alice frame, hip belt, and Molle ii shoulder straps. I'll prolly use it V2 mode.
*Also got a sage green camelbak bfm from same site unused.
*Got a Blackhawk LRAK rifleman kit from another site.
*Purchased 2 books: Country Wisdom know how..., and Natural Health and Healing know how...

Also have 2 of these on the way via mail

May I be so bold to suggest you chose two or three methods of shipping that are convenient for you and your family, like:

> Normal Snail Mail,
> Fed Ex, and
> DHL.

or

> UPS,
> Snail mail, and
> Carrier pigeon.

Then let the folks who make offers on your stuff figure out which method of shipping is best for them.

I expect there would be more than a few things in that pile I would be interested in.  But keep in mind his kit is across the pond.  Its a combo of Dollars, Pounds and a Euro thrown in for getting it here.

Hi All,

What I am going to do is, as we inventory. I will do some research.

If what I have can be found cheaper over there. I will post links to where you can get it.

If the item is scarce or unique I will find a way to quote a cost shipped over there that is competitive.

We are slowly getting things sorted out here and I will be able to get lists out.

I bought one of these Realtree Xtra jackets pictured in the link. Reg. Price is $180, it is currently on clearance for $50 at the my local store while online it says $60. I bought in person so I don't know if online sale will send you something else. If a JCPennys is near you, it is worth checking out.

I've been busy printing out survival recipe’s and putting them in a three ring binder. I'm always on the lookout for simple recipe's that take few ingredients. I try to find ones that don't take butter that is until I can make a bunch of Ghee.  :stir:

*Just got my steel rifle plates today. Paid $89 from CATI armor + free shipping. I'll use these for PT/training and fighting til over time I can upgrade. I threw them in an Eagle industries Universal Plate carrier (Ranger Green) I bought from Natchezs for like $20 but awhile back. The PC is not adjustable at the shoulders or neck (V neck) but it'll toughen me up. Can't wait to take this thing on hikes with my camelbak gear.

*Also got "Tracking: Signs of Man, Signs of Hope" by David Diaz as recommended by John Mosby. Flipping through it, it looks promising and will provide more activities to perform in kit.

*Also tracked down some Magpul tactical carbine dvds and received my copy of "The Last Hundred Yards". TLHYs is also a very informative book and I'm very grateful to be able to learn from it.

Practiced with my AR-15 bought ammo to replace what I used. I also ordered a duel set of Baofeng UV-5R radios from a company here in the states, New Jersey.

Some great accomplishments folks.

Lets see...Of course I took Brushbeater's RTO class, packaged up some basic on the road rations for my BOB, ordered two books that were recommended on this site (The Last 100 Yards & Survival & Austere Medicine: An Introduction ), and monitored my maple sap collection.

I've been slowly getting prepping odds and ends and they started to pile up. Yesterday, I dumped all that crap into a big plastic storage container and put it with the others. I also just received two more Biohazard suits and put them with the other two suits that I already had. I ordered 5 handcuff keys. For those that don't know, all normal handcuffs use the same key. I plan to give one to the wife to carry and one for myself to carry. The rest will go into my prepper gear. HINT: Keep your handcuff key where you can still get to it if you are in handcuffs.

OH, Wait!!!! I have big news..... My generator gas tank was leaking at the petcock and I won't go into all the trouble I had fixing it, but I finally got it fixed so that crappy friction fit is now a Threaded metal tube with hose clamps.

I bought a little more Silver today. I'm seeing a lot of things that really concern me about the Dollar crashing. It could be 2018 or possibly 2019, but its being reported by financial experts as not IF but WHEN. Until it happens, I have to keep Dollars available for Taxes and Insurance and household Bills but I don't want to be caught holding a bunch of cash when the Dollar is worth zero. Uh Oh.... Here I go peeing on the Bitcoin Parade. If you have a million dollars worth of Bitcoin and the dollar becomes worth zero, then how much is a Bitcoin going to be worth? I would have bought some Bitcoin but I just can't bring myself to value something that I can't hold in my hand. If you can't access the internet, how do you retrieve it, spend it, or sell it? Does it just float around in the ether forever? I know I'm pushing my point a bit hard but, to me, its like paying for real food in the pantry or paying for fake food in the pantry. I think real food is better. :deadHorse:

I agree with your assessment Pk, there's nothing like hard, tangible assets.  During times like these, it's better to have access to usable items rather than money in the bank that may not be worth anything, if you can actually withdraw it.

agreed and will search to see if you all already have posts related/focused to bitcoin (I am no expert but will share what I have seen also).

Hey Gadget, I am looking for a 5 piece military sleeping bag system at a reasonable price. Would you have one in your inventory willing to send state-wide?

Good find zeerf. A bit pricing for a 4 part by $30-$40- but nice to get from someone not Ebay.

I did some aerobic conditioning by going for a walk on snowshoes, and while out and about did some shooting too.  I'm trying to get more proficient with my EDC, a H&K VP9.  It was a beautiful Spring day, lots of blue sky, though the temperature was only at 40 degrees.   The H&K shoots well, and accepts whatever ammo I put through it.  All in all, a great day in the woods.

The H&K PV9 is a fine weapon. No need for an after market trigger on that handgun.

When H&K comes out with a .45 ACP version of the PV, I will buy one in a NY minute.

While at the Shot Show I asked a rep from H&K about the new PV45 and he told me that there were a couple in prototype but about 2-years away from making it to the streets. I asked "why", and he said, "Its all about marketing and gun sales. Once the PV9 sales start to decline then it will be time to introduce the PV45."

I like honesty.
