JM I get them from Camping Survival, I found they are the cheapest around. For 500mg Cipro you have you have to type in their search engine
Cipro. They are also the cheapest for Red Feather canned butter.

Wow what a holiday.
Good to be back
Happy new year to all the preppers!

I did some small scale prepping, restocked my emergency (pocket size) sewing kit, and rearanged my new small waterproof carry on box(fits in my hand bag). I always carry these with me wherever i go.
I even managed to fit in a small mirror(lipstick box size mirror)-great for looking around corners without putting your head in danger. i fit quite a number of things into it.
*mirror
*floss (4m)
*earbuds (8)
*waterproof fire starter
*compass
*2 sewing needles
*celestimine tablets (4)
*material pencil (white)
*prestik (15grams)
*2 hairclips
*10ml vaseline
*tea tree oil (15ml)
*eno's sachets (2)
*small compass

And tested out some of my new compact camping gear.
Found and tested a few recipes on an open fire.

All around not a bad way to enter a new year.
I hate christmas time of the year and must say, this was the most fun i have had in a long time over the holiday period.

Come on over out of the heat.  Bring spare noogies. Whatever those things are, but you will freeze them off  here.  Its doing some serious cold getting.

Also, celestimine-- what does it do?

and prestik-- is that an anti-depressive medication or putty stickum compound?

R-M - cool additions.  Are the earbuds for your phone or something else?

Nemo -  with apologies to R-M;
i've traveled a bit :)
celestamine -  think allergy tabs.
prestik is the same as loctite funtack.  it is a temporary adhesive like silly putty.
eno's  - think alka seltzer or bromo fizz - good for a sour stomach.

Noogies - I have no clue.

Noogies are (to me anyway) whatever you would lose to being out too long in weather too cold to be out in and lose to the freezing.

Ergo-- freeze your noogies off.

:lmfao: Hey Nemo. hehe thank you for asking i was wondering if everything might be understood. hehe translation coming up.

Well * Celestamine® is an international brand name for betamethasone/dexchlorpheniramine, a corticosteroid that is prepared for systemic as well as topical use for inflammatory conditions of the skin including seborrheic or atopic dermatitis, neurodermatitis, and psoriasis.*
It helps with bee stings and any allergy related issues like swelling, itching, coarse patches of inflamed skin due to allergy breaking out, it is very helpfull for extreme allergic reactions. commonly used here by us.

And as for Prestik. white re-usable putty-like adhesive, which is clean, safe and easy to use.
Handy stuff-you can stick anything to any surface and re-use the material, can be used as ear buds even. It has so many uses it is unbelievable. here is a link for the curious.

Spares will be braught, seems i may yet get my chance to come over within the next 2-3 years even. :fuckYeah:

Hope i didn't miss anything.

Since I am a bit behind the times in this topic I will share recent things we have done.

Being in the UK as part of the EU we can get some interesting things here legally.

1. We restocked our over the counter pain management items. Ibuprofen and codeine.
2. Bought in another 300 Grams of pure powdered Lidocaine. (Love eastern european markets)
3. Salvaged a small 12ft boat from next-door that we are going to convert to electric drive.
4. We have bought alot of gill and throw nets

Will fill everyone in more soon.

Today we have begun to inventory our gear.

Needless to say the fact that I tend to buy more than is needed has come to light.

I presented my soon to be son in law a 175lb crossbow that he had no idea we had.

I have discovered that we have 10 extra sets of level 3a soft plates that can go into any of the 20 different vests that we have.

I have hard plates for all three of the males in the house.

This is the tip of the iceberg. When it comes to equipment I do not think we have missed anything.

Oh dear.

We have decided to pear down a bit and sell the major excess and trade it on ebay to fill the minor holes in our preps.

The boat is about to have a transplanted engine into it.

Just need to build the trailer for it.

Speaking of trailers. We will be picking up one I bought from a friend this week. A minivan body converted to a trailer.

Will post pics of the projects as the come.

I have been drawing up a south african translation to the american one year prep list.

It has been proving abit of a challenge as not only our products differ but retailers and prices aswell.
May take me some time to factor in locations to purchase aswell.

Aside from the list making, i have been looking at around the house maintenance that is due and how to spruce it up in a prep kind of way.
Simple example-rain gutters.
And installing a rain gathering system and possibly adding on to that a seperate tank for watering my vegetable garden which has now changed aswell.

I then looked at our man made dam(very small) and making it deeper without making it unnatural.
I found examples of what is called natural swimming pools(human made)

see link below.
http://www.naturalswimmingpools.co.za/home.shtml
SO these are 2 relatively good things to start up whilst doing maintenance. Would work excelently in my corner of the valley.

As for my BOB i am waiting for payday to finally order my first (official) set of bags.
Cannot wait. :trolling:

OK All....

I have a massive amount of kit here that I we have decided to move on after our inventory.

As JM has requested. We wish to provide those here with first dibs on the stuff.

Some of this is stuff you cannot get over there.

My problem is that I need to come up with an economical way to get it over to you all from the UK.

Looking for input and options.

Cheers all.
