I have been speaking with a bunch of folks locally and I am rather shocked that so many people have their whole psyche focused on this presidential election cycle.
May I suggest that if your candidate does not win, you will still put your work clothes on and go off to work. At a 100,000-ft level our good Lord has things in control. You have done what you did for your choice and worrying over what MIGHT be the outcome is "future tripping" which can cause health issues. Both physical and mental.
If Trump wins and he wins popular and Electoral College I suspect "peaceful protests" will be minimal.
If Trump wins the Electoral College and looses the popular vote, then we will see moderate "peaceful protests" mostly in urban solid Blue centers.
If Trump wins after a long drawn out process - think 2000 (Gore/Bush) - all hell will breakout with kinetic exchanges.
If Harris wins, millions of people will be disappointed but they will go on about their lives.
If Harris wins, millions of people will be ecstatic.
At this point, vote, take people to the polls if needed and leave it up to the good Lord. It is all in his hands.
