Heard this on FOX this morning. They are removing it because it is currently being held up with poles and wires. They called in arborists (tree doctors) to inspect it and they are the ones who recommended the removal

Yes, apparently magnolias have a tendency to become hollow as they age.  It sounds like a good call, and supposedly they've saved lots of seed pods, so a direct descendant can replace the decrepit tree.

Interesting...I have friends who are "never Trumpers". They are even saying that they feel bad that the press is giving Trump and Melania such a hard time.

Hey, cannot help what obummer brought with him.  The rats and cockroaches came in his luggage, packed by his husband michelle.

Trump caused no problem with the tree and actually tried to save it but it was too far gone.
