JoJo speaks to political correctness often. I am starting to understand his concern and how it affects us today. In essence, if you do not agree with the "party line" lock, stock, and barrel; you are pilloried in today's public square - Media, social media, educational institutions, et cetera.
I think back to periods in the globes history that we have seen this phenomenon happen before. The French Revolution, leading up to the American Civil War, leading up to World War II comes immediately to mind. During each of these period it wasn't enough to just descent but you had to enthusiastically come out and preach the party line. I would call this Fascism.
We see this all of the time whether it is Kate Smith, Mr. Biden saying nice things about Mr. Trump, Cher speaking out about illegal aliens, and other prominent liberals not sticking to the party line. In fact, just sticking to the party line today isn't enough, you must SHOUT the party line. This is pure and simple, fascism.
Where will it all end as long as people back down from verbal and financial attacks from today's Fascists and apologize, make amends, and then speak loudly the party line.
Over the coming weeks and months, watch the Democrat primary race to see if my opinion is off base. If I am right watch how the left eats its own. This will be done on the stump and out in the general public no where near any of the Democrat candidates - Yes, your neighborhoods.
