As some of you know... I ended up living a few lifetimes worth of experiences up till now.
What that does to a man of almost 50, is makes for a bit of confusion. Heck I never in my wildest dreams planned to make it this far.
Well that water under the bridge and I am coming to terms with that.
What I am here to say is that as I walked to the corner shop to buy two more bottles of wine. (Yeah I know.... working on the alcohol thing. I think.)
Ok.... where was I?..... Oh yeah.
I realised that there is a huge amount of stuff that is part of my life that I have not passed on since I left the service.
So here is one that I will pass on. A bit of a story here.
As a Sniper Coordinator and shooting team coach in Panama. I discovered a unique view on things.
Every time one of my troops looked at me and asked if they did or shot right, I answered with another question. "I don't know, did it work?"
When you are doing your prepping and training, you need to ask yourself that question. There are no correct answers.
If it works then you are golden. The wonder of the human mind is creativity.
Thanks
