PSL from lock & load sent me this link after some xbox 360 conversations.

Wow Reaver.

I hope "they" find Anthony and take him to the cleaners or the clink.

I feel bad for all of the folks who were taken by him and for all of the time we wasted on him.

Yeah, me too.

I just hated how fucking guar of all people was the one to spread the word.... that shit pissed me off to the point wanting to crush that little bitches skull with my boot & pick out his squashed eye balls with my knife, then feeding them to my dog.

Here's the thing guys.. I hope you and everyone else affected can learn from this.

I know everyone wants to support the little guy business and especially those that
are also part of our community. But in this case guys, google could have saved you
some serious trouble.

The threads are now archived but a search for RAR guns before all these issues, yielded
some interesting results. There were several threads on M4carbine and ARF basically
looking at the quality and poor execution of the RAR guns. There was NOTHING good to be said
about them. There were threads pointing out the mistakes of his builds from photos he
proudly displayed... literally. Incorrectly installed parts on product photos he had on his
website and on forums. He was literally laughed off several forums.

There were sooooo many red flags all along the way leading up to him ripping people off.

Look at this:

Quote
We are very proud and privileged  to have built rifles for the ARMY Special Forces, Marines,
US Navy SEALS, ICE, FBI and multiple law enforcement agencies around the country

No, No, No, No, No... Guys, if this were true, there would be a public record of it. There isn't.
You can find that data. You can see who holds what contract and who buys from who.
He ain't one of 'em.

The "sidewinder" that thing was fucking STUPID!
Mapped out and designed by a kid wearing a helmet and coloring outside the lines
of his coloring book. That right there, was a sign from God himself!

Here's another gem:

Quote
Each is built by hand to exacting standards. Every part is inspected before and after
it is installed. We chamber each rifle in 5.56 NATO with military head spacing. We polish the
chamber and custom grind our own exclusive M4 style feed ramps for a more positive feed.

Hell no! LOL. I remember him talking about cutting in feed ramps with a Dremel tool.
Whoa... Easy buddy, Mills and lathes...he didn't own any. A Dremel? WOW!
What did he chamber with? A drill?

More gems:
Quote

The RAR Guns M413 is the closest you can get to a real M4 without needing a special license.

You mean a tax stamp?

Quote
This is a true mil-spec rifle made from the same parts used by SOCOM, US
Army, US Navy, US Air Force, US Marine Corps and
other government agencies and bureaus.

No, you haven't sold shit to anyone but unsuspecting buyers. Your rifles aren't
ANYWHERE near mil-spec either!

Quote
Specifications:
R.A.R. Forged Match Grade Upper with Forward Assist
R.A.R. Forged Match Grade Lower

YHM Flip Up Front Sight/ Gas Block
A2 Flash Hider
M4 Battle Grip
5.56 NATO Chamber Polished and Military Head Spaced - HACK JOB
Custom Cut "Never Jam"M4 Style Feed Ramps  - HACK JOB

You guys realize that WA and GM
are some of the same people Delton spec their parts from right?
You guys realize that you are not only just buying pieced together
Delton kits for more than they would have cost you...You're buying
Dremeled on Deltons!!!

I know, I know, my frugal minded, prepper friends.
His prices. THAT is what got you! Your need to buy cheap.
You ignored those red flags and didn't make an informed decision.

Worse yet, your bright and shining star, Mr.-I walk like shaggy from Scooby-Doo,
Have weak philosophies and ramble on about nonsense I know nothing about...AKA Mr.L&L,
endorsed RAR Guns and you thought it was cool!

Please, learn from this.
I'm tired, so I'll go over in another post, how to spot and what a true Mil-Spec rifle is.
I'll also give you my experiences working with ARs specifically. When you see 100 crappy
ARs made by the same manufacturer, not to spec and poor or poor craftsmanship, it's called a clue.
I'll share it with you.

Do your homework guys!!! This was super obvious scam material.
Sorry for the rant, but it needed to be said!

Hey, he was endorsed and had the blessing of the guy that owned the site,,, :-\

You guys all like the stuff. I'm sure that would have gone over real well.
I did nicely point out that his sidewinder accomplished nothing...

To be honest. I typed stuff out and put links and all in it..
I never posted it though. I just felt like that would be a dick move.

To me, it's not like that. Using your analogy though:
It's like the McD's guy crapped in your sunday right in front of you, the consumer.
You just didn't know that him pooping in your sunday was socially unacceptable or even that
eating poop is unsanitary and gross.

Me, the bystander, I just thought maybe you liked eating poop?  :o

I don't really feel the need to inform uninformed buyers, I don't spoon feed people.
If you didn't do your homework before you purchased something-anything, that's your bad.

If you want me to warn you and state the obvious out-loud from now on, I will.
Seriously- starting now!!!

See this creepy guy? He's creepy!

If he offers you chocolate, don't take it.
He's spiked it with roofies and just wants to stretch your butthole.

I know he's got a trustworthy face... but don't trust him.

i was one of the few that has a RAR M413...after i switched out some parts and dropped 1500 -2000 rounds threw it, with it not failing once or jamming up at all. i feel that when i got  the rifle it was alright. but after i dropped 500 bux in mods on it... it is perfect for me

i know RAR guns is a bunch of bullshit and i would not ever order from them again but my rifle has done nothing but good things for me

Sticking your finger in a light socket or hitting on that woman at the end of the bar that you would not if you were sober I can see... but for some people that was an expensive fucking lesson.  Part of being part of an online community is sharing information, especially when it could be the difference between someone just learning a lesson and getting the fucking shaft.

And no offense, but that also makes me wonder what else you aren't telling everyone.

Here's the thing...I'd be right, right now.
But back then, L&L guys were all over his nuts.

It's easy for you guys to say that now.
Had I said something then, you would have stood up for him.
Some of you were so far up his behind I couldn't tell where he stared and you ended.

Guys, Guar was his super awesome distributor. How much more obvious can it be?
Birds of a feather and what not...

Life lessons are expensive. I wrapped a BMW around a tree. It was expensive and
learning occurred.

Again Google takes all of 1 minute. If you're sitting on a forum chatting
you have time to google some shit before you buy it. You're all adults,
MAN UP. Your Mom isn't here, I sure as hell ain't your Mom.

I'm not calling anyone stupid, but there was a lack of common sense.
Bottom line YOU are responsible for yourself, NONE of you did your homework.
That IS your own fault. Not mine.

Ultimately, I have to agree with this final statement. I, too, think it was a rather expensive lesson, and that preppers have a hard enough time (for the most part) prepping adequately due to budgetary concerns. However, looking back (and without the actual forum to guide me), I will admit that I fell into that bandwagon, also. The difference is that I already have a rifle, an M1A, and did not need an RAR. Otherwise, I may have jumped in and bought a firearm, too. I would have been pissed off, even here with Technique, but he's right when he says it's our own damn fault. Carry on.

I can agree with both of those statements.  I understand and really don't blame you Tech, so many were wrapped up in all the hype.  Thanks for putting the info out there though.

In some cultures, a thief's hand is cut off for the first offense.   The second offense is execution.

It's not that hard to build your own AR.  If you are a "prepper", then putting together an AR-15 is like a lego set.

Fuck that guy.  (not "thatguy", but that guy)   [URL=http://www.smileyvault.co
