The Governor has suspended the gun permit recognition law. NO Carry, open, concealed, permit or not. Unless you are a cop or licensed security guard.
BoR can be suspended in "emergency" as she has declared.
I have a problem with that idea.

Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham on Friday announced a new public health order that, she said, will prohibit people from carrying firearms, either open or concealed, in Albuquerque and throughout Bernalillo County for the next 30 days, regardless of whether they have a permit.

Me too! That will not stand.

I'm pretty sure that the Supreme Court will also have a problem with that. I will never understand why States and Localities pass mandates that the Supreme Court has already struck down. I hope the Police Officers in those localities are smart enough to ignore that crap.

Imagine if a governor suspended , oh saaaay, the 13th amendment, making slavery legal in her State? Would THAT fly?

She should just suspend criminal activity in the city and end all problems :sarcasm:
-
Good point! If she outlawed criminality, only criminals would be criminals.... oh wait...

I would be happy to "flaunt" an "open carry" directly in front of her goons, invite arrest, suffer arraignment, incarceration and trial. I'm a mere 6 or 7 hour drive away +/-... And according to _their_ best interests, the process could be slow walked or accelerated, who knows?
The thing is ... and tell me if this is a trivial thing or not...
I am now basically without solid backup. Cats, dogs, horses _depend_ on me.
So. Like ALL of us here, we calculate "cost/benefit" ratios and behave in fashions that don't risk the well-being of those who depend on us, those in our care, those we have ended up with responsibility for. It stays our hand, modulating our certainty of where this leads, Yet... we know, we wish, we hope.
...And don't our existential enemies know it...

I am game to risk the arrest also. BUT, being 25 hour drive away, I am in a similar situation.
Were that to occur in VA, bet your backside I am on the front line of that OCing protest.

PKv wrote, "I'm pretty sure that the Supreme Court will also have a problem with that." Yeah, but it will take a year to get there.
This event is bigger than the suspension of the 2A. It is an attack on the Bill of Rights as a whole.
Today the 2A, tomorrow it will be the 1A. "We can't have hate speech."

Disobey.
This is the future for all of US. A good thing to consider is to study IRA influence in their AO and how they handled things when the UK army would come by to establish a presence. This will be how to live under the NWO entire bigger events in the world change the map. :coffeeNews:
