Well, with a lengthy hiatus I am back here at Unchainedpreppers.
I have been spending most of my time getting ready for the winter here at the redoubt and helping to get American Partisan up and running. Currently, AP is beating other like genera magazines like gunsandammo, revolver, americanrifleman, survivalblog, to name a few. Thank you to all who follow Patriotman, NC Scout, myself and others over at AP.
Currently, I am mending from a bout of bronchitis and nursing MrsMac through her time time with this nasty cold. My doctor made me take a Chinese Virus test but at this time I do not know the results. I suspect it will be negative as our symptoms do not match the standard list of symptoms for the virus. We are both taking larger than normal doses of, Vitamin D, Zinc, and aspirin just in case though. Because I have bronchitis my doctor has me on Doxycycline Hyclate too.
I will be starting up the ERIN net this coming Tuesday night. It will probably be at 2000 hrs eastern and the PACE will be coming out shortly. I have started a thread on this in the Radio Board.
So there you go all the news fit to print from the redoubt.

I'm glad your back. Been reading your articles on AP. Great work.

Thank you sir.
How are you and the Misses doing? Have any of your family been coming over to your thinking?

It's good to see you posting here again, Johny. I've missed your insight on various topics. I hope you and the Mrs. get well soon. Poor Luna is battling a case of Lyme Disease, and I'll be seeing my physician too for the same illness, since we've been hiking together. We hiked over 30 miles last month, and I hope to do the same again this month, without my partner, unfortunately.
Anyways, good to see you back!

Oh man Jackalope has Lyme disease? W3OOF tested positive several years ago. The Doctor put here on a antibiotic regiment for 30-days. She is still tested once a year but been good so far.
The only side-affect for the disease is she dislikes postal employees.
-
Yeah, she's going to be on Doxycycline for 30 days too. The vet recommended that I see my doctor, since Luna and I have been together, so it makes sense to either get tested or just take some antibiotics and get it over with. I was using Frontline on her for flea and tick deterrent, but now she'll be using something more potent that the vet prescribed for her. There's a heavy tick infestation down here this year, though around the homestead it's not too bad, because the chickens do a decent job of keeping them under control. However, in the woods, ticks are everywhere, and I've had to remove several this summer. Part of living in the South, I guess. But it reminds me to stash some more Doxycycline away for future use, and now I'll know the proper dosage.

A brother in law who I thought was a democrat turned out to be a closet Trump supporter.

Please, JohnyMac, add a Z-pac (Azithromycin) to your medical stores. Kept cool (like in a dark refrigerator) it has a long shelf life. We can debate how long but my rotation used a 4-year old with excellent results in July (COVID). A kindly doctor scripted me another Z-pac so into the rotation it goes. That and extra vitamin D and zinc if in doubt, hit the Z-pace if Oxy saturation begins to fall or you lose any sense of taste/smell, call doctor for backup and prescription resupply.
-
Thank you Felix. Other than having my Dr. write a script, how would I attain Z-Pac?
Thx Brother

Hey gap! We picked up 4 more bacon seeds in August. Although we do not like to grow 'em in the winter the price was just to good to not grab when we did.
Good going!
