regarding his false answers on 4473 and other gun related charges. I believe it is about 25 years total max incarceration.

So, why now? Legal consequences for Hunter's drugs and illegal actions, and etc. were delayed to well past the 2020 election so that Joe would not get negative press. Many high level influence pdeelers made certain that this was swept under the political/media rug for 2020. Now, they go to trial forthe easiest to prove charges relating to his form 4473, while tax and other charges should be brought for both Humper Biden and Daddy. OTOH, the Laptop from Hell for the Biden's was denied by '51 intelligence experts' and now is suddenly admissable in court. Has joe run out of political pull or is his empowerment finally fading?
Can we conclude that Joe is not the leftist choice for this elections, so why waste influence peddling power on making the Hunter troubles go away any longer? People at that level own judges ( and likely the entire DOJ ) so I don't see these convictions as mere happenstance. Something is up.
Hmmmmm,

Grizz: Somehow, I have this thought in my head. Hunter will get 5 years suspended sentence and a $10,000 fine. I don't see him doing any jail time and I'm thinking there will be a fine that we, ordinary citizens, would find harsh but Hunter will see as a very high tip at a fine restaurant.

I see hunter going to jail and start selling his jailhouse series of paintings for millions of dollars as he sits in a cell that a mafia don would be proud of....

Joe gets off the reelection stage now to pardon Hunter before his term ends is possible but unlikely. Let Harris take over, and she is elected she does it, letting Joe say he will not do so.
I expect it will be very possible to let his report to prison date be easily put off to after the election date. If Joe is reelected he gets sentence commuted (despite statement to not do) then or if he loses he will have time to do so before Jan 20.
Joe has said he would not Pardon Hunter. That is very different from sentence commutation.
